Worried that the Korea lower blepharoplasty cost you see first won't match what your under-eyes turn out to need?
Read this before you line up another set of quotes.
You'll know what decides the cost, which review claims hold up, how the methods differ and what recovery means for your days in Seoul. That makes it easier to tell which approach suits your under-eyes and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Kang Kyoungjin, Representative Director at Pascal Clinic.
I'm an MD with a PhD in Anatomy, and eyelid surgery is one of my focuses. Pascal publishes its price list on its site, in Korean won before 10% VAT, and you meet your surgeon at your consultation.
I wrote this because two quotes for the same procedure name can describe different operations, and people often compare them as if they were identical.
The cost follows what your lower lid needs: which tissue gets moved or removed, whether skin or lid support needs work, the anesthesia, and your days in Seoul.
Send a clear front photo and a side photo on WhatsApp with your goal, and ask what it would cost for your under-eyes. A coordinator passes them to your surgeon and replies with options and the matching price-list lines.

Three different problems can look alike in the mirror. Bags usually come from fat pushing forward. Hollows are a groove between the lid and the cheek, and they cast a shadow. Laxity means the lid's skin and support have loosened.
Many people have two of the three, and overhead light can make a groove pass for a bag. Our page on lower blepharoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning covers all three, because the approach changes with what you have.
Doctor's note
I began in anatomy, and I think of an eyelid as a moving mechanism. Your lower lid holds the tear film against the eye every time you blink. It has to work well before it can look good, so I want to know how the lid holds its position before I think about the bag. Taking out too much skin can pull a slack lid downward, and taking out too much fat can leave the hollow you were hoping to lose.
Korea lower blepharoplasty cost: what moves it
People search lower blepharoplasty cost Korea, lower blepharoplasty cost Seoul or South Korea lower blepharoplasty cost hoping for one line on a chart. Five things move your figure:
- The method. An incision inside the lid and one through the skin below the lashes are different operations.
- How much is done. Fat alone is a smaller job than fat, skin and lid support together.
- Anesthesia. Ask which type is planned for you and whether the quote includes it.
- First surgery or revision. Scar tissue from earlier surgery can change the work. Pascal treats eyelid revision cases.
- Your days in Seoul. Hotel nights, any stitch removal and a check before you fly all belong in your budget.
Our listed prices are before 10% VAT. Final quotes follow your exam, because the right procedure and extent depend on your anatomy. To get a figure for your own case, ask on WhatsApp with a side photo, and ask which price-list line applies.
Some travelers fit a second treatment into one trip, such as Mira Dry for underarm sweating, arm contouring or cheekbone reduction surgery. Ask for each line separately, and ask your surgeon whether the two belong in the same trip.
Which method fits which under-eye?
In short, this is the general reasoning most eyelid surgeons would recognize. Your exam may point somewhere else.
| What's there | General approach | Effect on cost |
|---|---|---|
| Bags, firm skin | Incision inside the lid; fat removed or repositioned | Usually the smaller operation |
| Bags with a groove | Fat moved into the groove | More surgical work |
| Loose, creased skin | Incision below the lashes; small skin trim | Adds stitches to remove in Seoul |
| Slack lid | Lid support added to the surgery | More work and often more days |
| Hollows, little fat to move | Added volume, such as fat grafting | Often a separate price line |
Say you're in your mid-thirties with puffy bags and firm skin, and your lower lid snaps back quickly when gently pulled down. I'd lean toward the inner approach, and the real question becomes whether the fat should be removed or moved. There's no skin to trim, and fewer steps usually mean a shorter list on the quote.
Now say you're in your late fifties with creased skin and a lid that returns slowly. Trimming skin alone could pull that lid down, so I'd want lid support in the discussion. The search term is the same, but the surgery, the quote and the length of your stay are not.
Take your side photo in daylight, without makeup, looking straight ahead. If you've had eyelid surgery before, add the details and ask whether a revision is likely to help.

Four claims turn up often in review threads, and they deserve different answers.
"There's no scar." Partly true. An incision inside the lid leaves no visible skin scar. An incision below the lashes leaves a fine line that usually fades, though it doesn't vanish.
"The bags are gone for good." Too strong. Many people keep the change for years, yet skin and cheeks keep aging.
"The bruises cleared in a few days." True for some people. Others bruise for a couple of weeks, so plan your photos and meetings around the slower version.
"Here's what I paid." That figure describes someone else's lids and method. A thread can't tell you your own Korea lower blepharoplasty cost, because it can't show which operation that person had.
How recovery shapes your days in Seoul
Bruising and swelling are usually most visible in the first week or so, then fade over the following weeks. Finer changes can keep settling for months. Skin-side stitches generally come out within about a week, so that method can set your earliest departure date.
Pascal is open Monday to Friday 10:00–19:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00, and it's closed on Sundays and public holidays. Land on a Saturday night and your first possible exam is Monday. Sinsa Station, Exit 8, is a short walk away, so a hotel on Line 3 or the Shinbundang Line keeps the trips short while your eyes are puffy.
Those nights sit outside the surgical line, yet they count toward your total Korea lower blepharoplasty cost. Ask your surgeon when you can fly before you book the return, and leave a spare day in your plans.
Risks and side effects to know
Surgery carries risks such as bleeding, infection and inflammation, and your surgeon explains them before you decide. Bruising, swelling, tightness and dry or watery eyes are common at first and usually ease over the first weeks. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons also lists risks such as scarring, difficulty closing the eyes, an outward-rolling lower lid and, rarely, loss of vision. A revision is sometimes needed. Individual results vary.
In general, you may need to wait or take extra care if you have:
- an active eye infection or inflammation
- significant dry eye or thyroid eye disease
- blood-thinning medication or a bleeding disorder
- recent eye surgery, or a current pregnancy
If you notice worsening pain, sudden swelling on one side or any change in vision after flying home, see an eye doctor or emergency department straight away. The CDC's medical tourism guidance suggests arranging follow-up care at home before you leave and keeping copies of your records, so bring those to the visit.

Frequently asked questions
Is the price on the website my final price?
No. The site shows the clinic's list prices in Korean won, before 10% VAT. Final quotes follow your exam, because the right procedure and extent depend on your anatomy.
Can I get an opinion before I fly to Seoul?
Yes. Message on WhatsApp with your goal and clear front and side photos. A coordinator passes them to your surgeon and replies with options and the matching price-list lines. Your surgeon still confirms the plan at an in-person exam.
Does treating under-eye bags always mean a cut in the skin?
No. When the skin is firm, fat can often be reached through an incision inside the lid. Loose or creased skin may call for an incision below the lashes as well.
Who performs lower blepharoplasty at Pascal?
Dr. Kang focuses on eyelid surgery, fat grafting and lifting, and Dr. Bae's focus also includes eyelid surgery. You meet your surgeon at your consultation.
Will fat grafting replace surgery for hollow under-eyes?
Sometimes it's a fair option for a hollow with little bulging fat, but it won't tighten a slack lid or remove a true bag. Grafted fat may also not all survive, so more than one session is possible.
